I subscribe to two competition magazines (one is posted to me and the other is sent by e-mail). Both subscriptions have come up for renewal. Not won anything yet! Dithering about renewal but enjoy doing them. Anyone been successful themselves or know someone who has been? Thanks a lot.

Many years ago, in the 60s I think, I entered a caption competion for Woodpecker Cider - i wrote 'It perks up your pecker' ! I got a lovely letter from them saying they loved my caption but didnt think they could use it - and gave me a small prize. How things have changed - bet they would use it now. lol

One that may shock you all.... I actually won ten pounds in a Readers Digest prize draw! Not quite the £250,000 I had anticipated, but just goes to show that these things are sometimes genuine! Helen

About 3 yrs ago we were in a disney store and my youngest(then 5)wanted to fill in a comp form to win tickets to the Disney Channel Kids Awards.i didn't want her to as i was short of time but she started to create so it was quicker to just let her do it. well you could have knocked me down with a feather when we got a letter saying we had won 4 ticket to see the awards at the Albert Hall. best thing was after the show she kept telling everyone that she saw Kylies daughter(Danni) LOL
