Thank you to all the people who replied to my thread since I last posted a thank you. How long do threads last? Do you keep checking them forever? Was surprised to find more replies. When someone replies does this make it come back to the beginning again. Sorry I must have missed it. THANK YOU. Love Janet |

Alan, great to hear someone won something from T.A.B. - my friend always says I am wasting my time as no one really wins anything. I will show him your reply. I have been doing the comps in T.A.B. and That's Life since the magazines started but have never won a prize, only things from the send a postcard ones in That's Life. I won 10 aerosols of Hair Removing Cream, and a huge box of Thorntons chocs which arrived all bashed up in a jiffy bag so I complained to the Post Office and to the magazine and they sent me yet another better box of chocs, well wrapped this time. I managed to force myself to eat the bashed chocs first!! I won a black and white t.v. by guessing the weight of the Dulux dog at the opening of B & Q in Norwich, and I won a portable colour tv when I phoned in to the tv station about which team Norwich were playing that week. I also have won several raffles including a Barnardo's bear who will be mini Gaynor Bear's guardian when she arrives. My son won a box of toys from a newspaper competition and several other prizes and we have often won books and tickets for the theatre or cinema in Norwich. And I have won a couple of 50 pounds on the Premium bonds. Am just waiting for the big one there , or a car or holiday etc from the magazine comps. One of these days.... |

Also ate 3 doughnuts in under a minute on live tv (The Priory, Channel 4) to win £500 when I was 18. becx |

About 3 yrs ago we were in a disney store and my youngest(then 5)wanted to fill in a comp form to win tickets to the Disney Channel Kids Awards.i didn't want her to as i was short of time but she started to create so it was quicker to just let her do it. well you could have knocked me down with a feather when we got a letter saying we had won 4 ticket to see the awards at the Albert Hall. best thing was after the show she kept telling everyone that she saw Kylies daughter(Danni) LOL |
