It's the ex's 21st soon and he's having a fancy dress party. The new girlfriend (Emu) is going as a schoolgirl... I need to think of something better (ie. sexier, eyecatching etc) to go as... |

Hi You go as the teacher that looks like a cross between a secretary and a supermodel. You then tell him you can teach him new tricks and take notes at the same time unlike the silly girl he has at the moment. LOL |

You don't have to compete with this , sorry, 'moron' . Go as you, and leave as soon as possible...... Hate fancy dress...... Just go to be sociable...then leave. The biggest no no is to argue with anyone...... Be above it all......and of course......be you!..... Do not be drawn in to an argument......cos they have 'won' then! You have a life out here......I know......Just trust you will be strong......and you will.... Look foreward to hearing from you..... Stel.xx You can do it!!! I'm a survivor!!!! Wishing you luck and everything else..... Stekl.xx |

*waves to Pat* Cant' you sleep for the heat either? I haven't even tried to go to bed yet - too hot and sticky. Might try in a mo! Bec - the operative word here is EX - do not go. Why the hell should you?...and there is certainly no need to compete - do yourself a favour. I have met you - I know you are worth something more than this moron...stop trying to compete with whatever s**g bag he is going out with - why put yourself through it? - You don't want him back surely?? Mummy Magsxxx P.S. - that was a ditto with more gin! lol |

Mags reference the ditto it was me with more guinness lol Well have to say if I was drinking gin I would be asleep in minutes, can't keep awake with the stuff lol, this is funny only mentioned that tonight. This place is spooky, yesterday Lynda's thread about lost stuff spooked me. Its sticky in Bristo, must be sticky all over the place, Maz in Cornwall has the nasty rain which is probably on its way here as I speak. Mags do you know Quedgley must ask Ann in Glos , how silly is that I am in contact througn her midlands folk anyway Hardwicke and Quedgley I have folk from 1865 time just like to know if those areas are still very rural or very built up? Bec, Don't put yourself through turmoil for an EX. Don't go. That will leave him wondering ,will it not?? Having read your threads in the past over the heartache this excuse for a man has caused you, he's not worth it. If you do decide to go, just make a fleeting appearance. Smile, act cordial, be the best you can be - then leave. I wouldn't bother getting into fancy dress - Just dress to kill! from another Aunty- Deb |

Hi Becx, I'm with the others. You don't need to lower yourself. But if you feel you HAVE to go then don't go in fancy dress. Go dolled up to the nines and have a taxi pick you up half an hour after you arrive (even if it only takes you home). Say you were so pleased to be invited so had to call in to say hello but you have another engagement and can't stay. Gwynne |

Thank you to all my Aunties and Uncle (Fred) I will be going to this party because I have been personally invited and it was suggested that if I didn't go he'd assume it was because I couldn't face seeing him on a special occasion (load of rubbish!) Will have a think about what to go as and will let you all know Thank you for your advice and support, love you all lots Becx |

Appart from the fact that as he's your ex you should really show him that you don't give a toss what he wants to read into you not turning up.......... Go for an elegant outfit rather than the comedy, sexy image that his new bird is going for.......... Understated wins every time!!!!!!!! Mandy |
