It's the ex's 21st soon and he's having a fancy dress party. The new girlfriend (Emu) is going as a schoolgirl... I need to think of something better (ie. sexier, eyecatching etc) to go as...

Hi Becx, I'm with the others. You don't need to lower yourself. But if you feel you HAVE to go then don't go in fancy dress. Go dolled up to the nines and have a taxi pick you up half an hour after you arrive (even if it only takes you home). Say you were so pleased to be invited so had to call in to say hello but you have another engagement and can't stay. Gwynne

Thank you to all my Aunties and Uncle (Fred) I will be going to this party because I have been personally invited and it was suggested that if I didn't go he'd assume it was because I couldn't face seeing him on a special occasion (load of rubbish!) Appart from the fact that as he's your ex you should really show him that you don't give a toss what he wants to read into you not turning up.......... Go for an elegant outfit rather than the comedy, sexy image that his new bird is going for.......... Understated wins every time!!!!!!!! Mandy
