The MOD were great when I was having surgery ( a calcified cyst on back being removed). I lived on my own at the time and they allowed my son home for a week to make sure I was fine - they had also sent him home when his father and I split - and for about a year later the Army Chaplain from his Base used to ring up every month to ask how I was doing Susie - that was really so lovely of you to think them all like that - you really are a star :-)

Susie, lovely of you to think of them. Please don't worry too much, If Val's DiL is living in quarters, as I think she is, there will be welfare officers to help and they will get him home if it is considered serious enough. Ann glos

Thanks Ann, I know that as I am a wife of a Sgt..Living in Germany and I also know that welfare officers are not all they are cracked up to be...and that when they are approached sometimes they are useless!!! Love Susie xx
