My kids both have nicknames within the family, they'd never speak to me again if I told anyone what they were lol. Maria :)

Louisiana My sons daughter is named Jaye.... because her father was named J.Flynn...her grandfather was J.Flynn her great grandfather was named J.Flynn... so on n so on.... J.Flynn goes back forever! (irish orginally) Jaye is his last child so was fitting for her to be named Jaye Flynn. She is nannys little princess.....lol Gerri

I don't but they do have them - My son was called 'Sid' by a leader with YHA about 16 years ago because he couldn't remember what his name actually was - and it stuck! He has been Sid to all his mates ever since. He is also called Moosehead - I have NO idea why! LOL Magsxxx

Our Lucy is 14 and we have always called her...... Chicken, Chick for short........or Lucy if she is in trouble!!

Years ago I was listening to the wireless....sorry! Radio....lol It was about 'Housenames' One caller named her house 'The poppin Jays' She said that all names in the house started with the letter 'J' and they were always popping in n out.. My Sons childrens names are Joshuah, Jordan and Jaye. Sadly he divorced the Mother of his children but they are still good friends. ( he says that he will love her forever and never find a replacement).... I'm waiting for his house with the name of 'The Popping J's' Gerri x

Our eldest girl is fred as mum named her that when they were laid up in bed together mum had her veins done and she was clem cadiddle hopper and melissa was fred fanacker pan as she had measles , and it stuck our second girl is Mons short for monster as she was a devil when she was a baby and started to walk she was into everything and as quick as lightning, she was also known as caca as josh couldn't say cassie but when eldest girl married a Chilean and he said do you know what caca is in spanish that name was a no no , Joshua missed out was always just joshie or josh , Lara

My youngest son is 'spike' - named himself that after his first crew/buzz cut 5 years ago. (He's more of a 'shaggy' now!!) My oldest was called 'charlie' by some kid on the bus who didn't know his name - now everyone calls him that, even his teachers and the janitor.

My eldest boy is Russell, He used to get Rusty Call him Russ now he is older. Youngest son is Scott he got Scottie or Butch My grandaughter is Maddison and she get's Maddi or Mad My other Grandaughter is Keesha and she gets Keesh sounds like something you can eat lol. My Grandson calls his sister Shah he could never say Keesha and it has stuck with him His name is Lachlain and he gets Lochie Hubby calls me Sexy I really don't know why after 44 years of marriage Regards Jackie

My poor kids are going to hate me when they are teenagers! My son was such a chubby baby and my aunt said he was a little pudding so we nicknamed him 'tidgy pud' (after the little yorkshire puds) and he has been 'Tidge' to all the family ever since. My mum nicknamed my daughter 'DoDo' Have no idea why. Must be between them. Claire xx

Eldest is Kerry AKA Kel, Kel Bel, Smell, her second name is Louise so when she was little she said it as Kerry Wheeze LOL which we changed to Kerry weasel... unfortunaly the weasel bit stuck and she is still known as weasel/wease!!!! Then come the the twins Luke and Nathan collectively known as Horice and Doris.. No idea why and not a particluar name for either or simply known as the boys ( and the funny thimng is everyone know i mean just the twins and not ben when i say the boys) Luke AKA Pukes (cos he used to a lot!!!) Dukes cos it rhyms with Puke but sounds better LOL or smiler. Nathan AKA Nath or Nuts. Youngest.... Benjamin AKA Little man, mitghy midget and more recently gapster ( cos he has several teeth missing) and when they are playing me up i have several names for them ALL too rude to put on a public board!!!!!!

My youngest (19) is nicknamed Felix by my dad (91!) because he comes and goes like a cat. Eldest boy is called 'Spanky' by my husband and I - something to do with grandad again. Boy used to wear grandads old peaked cap when he was a toddler (wouldnt be without it). Grandad said there used to be some sort of film series called 'Spanky and his gang' in the 1930's and the kid who was leader of the gang (Spanky!) always wore an old peaked cap.

My sister was always foo - really Sue but I couldn't say that. Jane

hi bacause my little boy was so big when he was little we called him sumo sam,then boo-boo( cos he kept saying it) now samuel at his request even though if he is grumpy i do call him victor (meldrew). my little girl is just like the little girl in monster inc so we call her boo. shirley( nickname whirley)
