used to put it in after but since married english man i put teabag in then water then bit of milk , i know how strong itll be then |

You have to put the teabag in before the water, but add the milk. I don't drink tea anyway, just hot water. Deanna |

If you put the tea bag in before the milk it brews better, but some people think by doing that it stains your cup inside, you can put milk in first but it does not brew as good I know this because I went on a two week course on how to brew a good cup of tea. |

Right. To make tea properly the water has to be boiling. If you put the milk in first, then it reduces the temperature. So it has to be... teabag, then boiling water, then milk after the tea bag's been removed. NB for coffee, the water should NOT be boiling Glad I can be of help to end this confusion. |

milk in, teabag in water in in mug Unless using pot then loose tea in but milk in first then pour tea on. Must be because I have it really weak |
