Just wondering who has met others from GR and become good firm friends in real life......like myself,sue,anna and jojo.....we in scotland meet up at least once a month and wouldn,t have met if it hadn't been for GR. xxxx

I am in regular contact with Paul and She Wray and if it hadnt been for circumstances beyond my control would be with them next week and going to Leeds with them. Have made some other really good friends on here as well.

I shall be meeting one of my best Board buddies for the first time in a couple of weeks, but we've emailed loads and spoken on the phone, so I've no doubt we'll get on famously. My other main mucker on here is further afield, but we have plans to meet up for a spot of mutual mayhem later in the year, and if we don't get on as well in real life as we do on the Net and over the phone, then I'll eat my hat! I've met three other GR ladies locally to where I live, and one of similar age is now a good friend. We shall meet more frequently, once my knee injury is healed and I'm driving again. There are a few other members I met at a GR Meet earlier in the year and got on quite well with, but differences in age or distance between where we live mean we don't get together often. I'm sure we would meet and have a laugh occasionally, given the chance. Oh, and then there's the guy who came to stay overnight and liked it so much at my house, he just HAD to come back for a second night! LOL I'm also looking forward to meeting several new GR people during Gaynor Bear's London Relay. I might be an opinionated old dragon on the Board, but I ain't so bad in real life. CB >|<

I have made one very good friend through GR, although we haven't had the oportunity to meet yet. I was surprised that I could strike up such a good friendship over the internet, but I really have. Kaye x

I have met quite a few now thru Scottish meets and arranging to meet folk on my own accord....and can honestly say thank you to GR for Sue, Jojo and Anna....unfortunately Jo lives too far away to see her on a regular basis but when me anna and sue party we get jo joining in online!!! couldnt ask for better 'real life' friends!!

I have a particular friend I met through GR. A mutual msn buddy told each of us individually that we ought to meet and that we would get on. We did - she was right and we do. She is more than a friend, she is my soul mate. You could wait a lifetime and never have such a friendship. We would definitely never have met had it not been for GR. Mags xxx
