we normally go to Morrisonsas its only a 2 minute walk away and my step dad works there so i like to buy the bread that he makes! But we went to Asdas yesterday 9got ma to take us) and we got more shopping than usual and it turned out being £45 where as we usually spend £60 and come away with less stuff, our normal food will last us 2 weeks, but this is gonna last about 3 weeks! Think Asda is now top of the list! Got a nice bit of fish from there too! xx |

Hubby does the weekly shop, and shops around for different items. You know, BOOTs for this, and Coop for something else....etc. But when I go shopping, I do like ASDA, it has everything under one roof and I can have a wander on the scooter they lend me. Then have a coffee. Deanna X |

Now Steedie, we are not going to fight are we? I have been in Morrisons cafe, and it is nice, but we don't have a Morrisons in our town. We have an ASDA, so unless number one son, takes us out further afield, we go to ASDA. Tomorrow, we are going out so we may well end up in Morrisons.....................although, I rather like TESCOs. tee hee. Deanna X |

Hi Steedie - you o.k.... I have got to admit that I hate asda and none too keen on the other supermarkets either. Get most of my meat from the butchers, and generally go round the markets for fruit and veg. Don't buy much in the way of bread and if I do its from the bakers. Usually call into Tesco for any bits of grocery cos its just up the road from work.. Lyndax |

I shop wherever they're selling what I want to buy, whether it's a market stall or Harrods. I'm not proud! LOL CB >|< |

We have a big Asda, Tesco and Morrisons near me. Have shopped at them all and Asda is far and away the better value and the better choice. Plus I find the customer service better too. :o) Claire (asda fan) xx |

Hi, We do our shopping at Morrisons when we can't be bothered to walk round Tescos ( i do prefer Tescos). Asda is currently being built and will be open in November i think so we will probably go there. Sharon xxx |

How I miss a 'proper' butcher and a 'proper' baker and a 'proper' all sorts of things. Supermarkets are great - with limitations. Anyone go to Albertsons or Fred Meyer? :-) |

We got to Tesco's because it's nearest. Before that we used to go to Sainsbury's because that was the nearest. We are very lazy shoppers. A huge new Tesco's has been built near us (Hi, Clare!) but I've only been once. It is far too big for efficient shopping. It was more like a route march than a shopping trip. I also do a bit of midweek shopping in M and S if I'm in town Gwynne |
