Palace Walk by Naguib Mahfouz It is very good, the first in a trilogy. Son brought them back from Egypt, for his dad. He bought him this computer too, don't know why he doesn't just give them to me in the first place. LOL Deanna x

Trowel and Error by Alan Titchmarsh, memories of his life so far. Very good reading, lots of nostalgia, he grew up in the 50s. I have waiting to read Rebecca by Daphne Du maurier for the Greaders book club. Ann Glos

I've just started The Professor by Charlotte Bronte - read Jane Eyre but never heard of this one. Seems she fell in love with the guy. It was published after her death in 1857 and gives quite an insight into Charlotte's mind. Worth a look.
