Morning Gwynne Morning All. Hope you are feeling better and you too June I get earache a lot have to always wear a scarf in winter last winter when I started to wear it Joe said OH Grandma you do look funny. Don't care what I look like anything better than earache. Was up at 4 this morning had a brew and went back to bed took ages to get off again so now i have only just got up. Not going anywhere so it doesn't matter. It was pouring down and blowing a gale early on but is dry now just went out to close gate as wind blew it open and it is quite mild. Hope you all have a good day. Germaine x

Germaine, When I first came to work in Fleetwood, I suffered terrible earache, the wind whips around there, I used to have a scarf or a coat with a hood too. June xx

Germaine, I worked at the Town Hall, isn't it a museum now? June xx

Yes June it is the museum now. the offices that were at the back where you paid your rates isn't there now. They have a big shed with the boat in 'The Harriet' think they have run out of money at the moment. I it's nice in the museum lots of Fleetwood history. Remember the Broadway pub that is down now building a big health centre. all the buildings from Mount St down to the roundabout are gone too ready for the new Asda you wouldn't know the place. Germaine , what a shame, that must be some of Fleetwood's history being lost. I haven't been to Fleetwood for about 12 months, I still meet some of my Fleetwood friends but often meet at The River Wyre, Poulton or a garden centre for lunch. I'll make sure the next lunchtime meetup is in Fleetwood. June xx
