Germaine , what a shame, that must be some of Fleetwood's history being lost. I haven't been to Fleetwood for about 12 months, I still meet some of my Fleetwood friends but often meet at The River Wyre, Poulton or a garden centre for lunch. I'll make sure the next lunchtime meetup is in Fleetwood. June xx

Yes June it is the museum now. the offices that were at the back where you paid your rates isn't there now. They have a big shed with the boat in 'The Harriet' think they have run out of money at the moment. I it's nice in the museum lots of Fleetwood history. Remember the Broadway pub that is down now building a big health centre. all the buildings from Mount St down to the roundabout are gone too ready for the new Asda you wouldn't know the place. Glad you know how it is June those kids who won't wear a hat will feel it later. It gets awful doesn't it. where did you work in Fleetwood wonder if it is still standing they are pulling so much down. germaine x

Germaine, When I first came to work in Fleetwood, I suffered terrible earache, the wind whips around there, I used to have a scarf or a coat with a hood too. June xx

Morning Gwynne Morning All. Hope you are feeling better and you too June I get earache a lot have to always wear a scarf in winter last winter when I started to wear it Joe said OH Grandma you do look funny. Don't care what I look like anything better than earache. Was up at 4 this morning had a brew and went back to bed took ages to get off again so now i have only just got up. Not going anywhere so it doesn't matter. It was pouring down and blowing a gale early on but is dry now just went out to close gate as wind blew it open and it is quite mild. Good Morning Julie, Yes thanks my throat feels a lot better but its the earache that gets me down, its like toothache. You would have thought I would have outgrown it by now, lol I have some 6 monthly blood tests today, I am dying for a cuppa but not allowed a drink or anything to eat before hand. June xx

Morning everyone :o) Looks sunny here at the moment which is good as my parents have arrived and I want to take them out and about. It's my little one's birthday today, small chubby angel, so I shall be making a huge gooey chocolate cake this afternoon. Jill, I hope your trip goes well.
