The driver just left him and no one came to help him I was so annoyed. Luck enough he has not broken anything although he is badly bruised all down one side. |

Bloody hell, Julia! What a terrible thing to happen. Give him a gentle hug from me, eh. x Just read your next reply - I shall never understand some of my fellow human beings. Especially the 'it's got nothing to do with me' brigade. |

Julia What a nasty shock for you. I hope your son recovers soon. I have a friend whose 14 year old boy fell off his bike and broke his leg. He lay in the road whilst cars drove past him - eventually another cyclist came to his rescue. I can't believe some people! nell |

I hope your son is ok. What a b......d the driver is. Unfortunately i can understand the lady not wanting to get involved. I went to help a child who had got knocked over. The car just tapped her and fortunately the child was not hurt in the slightest. The parents tried to sue me for not insisting the child was taken to hospital. We offered to call an ambulance at the time but she refussed it on several occasions. So what was i supposed to do. I ended up making myself ill with the worry of possibly being sued and i hadnt done anything wrong. Anyway i really do hope your son is ok. Jane |

Julia That's shocking - it beggars belief - there is no way I could drive/walk past another human or animal in distress. Wishing your son a quick recovery. Debby |

Julia how dreadful and thank heaven he wasn't more badly injured. Bad enough that the driver didn't stop but quite appalling that someone else should actually look the other way. Let's hope she never needs help herself one day. Daisy |
