He if feeling a bit better to day although his knee is very sore and he is not able to bend it to well. I'm taking him back the doctors tomorrow to see what they say. I no nothing is broken (had x ray) but worried in case he has damaged his cartilage(spelling) as I no that will not always show up on x rays. Alter ego it was on Broad green road not far from the gardeners arms, Old Swan. the police think he prob had no insurance other wise he would of stayed as it dose not seemed to be speeding (other wise he would have been Injured more seriously. The Ego Report 16 Oct 2005 09:51

Julia,do you mind me asking what part of liverpool this happened? I know the area well, who knows someone in a pub might have witnessed it. The driver is in serious s***!-He has commited a crime.....at least driving without due care and attention, followed by failing to stop at the scene of an an accident, aswell as the wounding itself.Who knows he might even have had no insurance or tax on top of that-if theres cctv-hes had it.

hi julia, just seen this, pleased your son is okay,it's something we all dread happening! glad you took him to hospital for a check,as sometimes shock doesn't come out at the time of the accident, due to the adrenalin. hope his knee is okay, probably a bit stiff, and sore today. bryan.

Julia, I am so glad your son is not too badly hurt . ( you did take him to the doctor didn't you?) That is so awful, hitting someone and driving off, but I am always surprised at passersby who ignore this sort of thing. God bless. Deanna XX

Julia how dreadful and thank heaven he wasn't more badly injured. Bad enough that the driver didn't stop but quite appalling that someone else should actually look the other way. Let's hope she never needs help herself one day. Daisy

Julia That's shocking - it beggars belief - there is no way I could drive/walk past another human or animal in distress. Wishing your son a quick recovery. Debby
