trying to find old lane in skegby,derbyshire

on the 1891 census im trying to figure out the name it says as my grt/grandparents address and for the love of me i cant read it properly,it looks like it says 17 stoneyford lane,but i dont think that exists,have looked on maps but no luck,can anyone help me please,xxx joy |

you may need one of these historic map sites. I think streetplan does one. Thats how I found the street where my Dad was born in Northampton |

No it doesnt Jess it was flattened. it was just around the corner from Tanner Street... I cant remember the name at the Mo but Grandad owned an off licence/grocers there GET THIS 1960ish my oldest sister and hubby buy their first home Tanner Street spooky or what |

thanks guys and gals,im really struggling.my grt nana was sarah murfin she is in the 1891 census she was born 1870 ripley and in 1891 was at an adress that looks like 17 stoneyford lane skegby,on the census there is a sukey ,joseph,mary elizabieth,arthur,thomas commins[should say commons]henry comminsissabella sarah and lucy,i cant sleep till i found out ,thankyou xxxxxxxxx joy |
