Em C I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and though i can understand the worry of the operation for you both at least there is an up side....you get to be together. I hope everything goes well for your hubby. Yvette

thanks for your replies folks, I do agree with you all, better here than there... i have had time now to let this latest newssink in, and feel much better within myself for feeling relieved that hubby doesnt have to go to Iraq.xx

Hi Em I agree with what the other folks have said that better here than in Iraq and send best wishes for the op, I go to ASDa in W Bridgford too and will visit M&S soon - is that on the same road as ASDA? Kaz :o)

Hi! Em Hope hubby's ok sending him best wishes. My 6yr old g/dau had a kidney removed in Aug she has 4 and the extra tubes were causing infection, alas she has to have the other one removed shortly . So know how you feel. Norah
