I suspect all we more mature Mums have been there done that!!! I once had a delightful 18 month old foster child who decided to help by cleaning the whole of the lounge with vim powder by sprinkling it everywhere. Ann glos

Huh. I had a child who decided to wipe the contents of his nappy on his newly papered bedroom wall whilst I was having coffee with my friends downstairs! This same child is now giving me teenage grief and I've just had a chat with his head of year who was being sympathetic! nell

modern way - talk to her gently, place her on the naughty step for 2 minutes to think about what she has done. when she is ready to apologise you hug and continue life. my dad's way, lifted up by the collar, soundly thrashed and put to bed. not sure which way works best! lol!

Lynda hate to tell you this tiddler has just turned 3 and shes getting worse. Took her to nursery today with no shoes on and hair all over the place, coat undone as she caused a fuss so much so she was sick. Stood her at nursery and put her shoes on with all the children looking at her and combed her hair. She then gave me a big grin and a kiss. Have had to put a lock on outside of eldests door up high so she can lock it whne shes not in it as tiddler goes in and causes havoc. have fun

Mine poured food colouring all over my brand new wool carpet in the lounge then added sugar and milk for good measure! 99p a square yard cord carpet went down after that! Mind you they're not much better now and they're 18 and 20 this year! Julie xxx

Yes, a long way to go, but apparently there is light at the end of the tunnel, a friend of mine told me that both her sons became quite civilised AFTER they'd left home. I think one of them was 30, lol! nell

Easy remedy Lock her under the stairs or give some cough mixture that makes her drowsy!! ONLY FLIPPIN' JOKING!!!!! I've got 3 children, 14, 21 &22 and when they were small I would love the solitude of taking the dog for a walk when hubbie got home from work. Don't worry, we've all been there and they do grow out of it Claire

thankfully my son has now grown out of the terrible twos our relationship is getting better all the time. mind you that might have something to do with the fact he is 22 and has left home Bev
