I've had some news this week that could be taken as good news, so mine be half full, but its a bittle of a double edged sword and at the moment it seem half empty. Excuse my momentary lapse into self pity. Hows your glass this week ? |

half empty this morning. was at work till 10 last night, and then got the call to be in early this morning as the files we'd sent last night had gone somewhat Pete Tong. On lunch at the moment, but feel a bit drained at present. |

depends on what mood i am in. Sometimes life is a Sh*t bag, then you realise others dont have as much as you and then it s okay again. Its kind of ...'in relation to' everyone elses glass ... Isn't it? jess x |

I have long since realised that, whilst I went to the toilet, someone had knocked over my glass and what little was in it was smashed on the floor. |

I try to be optimistic - but doesn't the News dampen our spirits? (not spirits in a glass!) Lily |

If your glass is always half empty then I suggest you get a smaller glass; if its always half full then you are using glass of correct size. Duh !! |

By the way Andy... totally know how you feel. Am on call this week. On top of that, I supported a site power outage at the weekend, so did several hours work on Friday night, Saturday, and then 7 hours on Sunday. Last night I was working for some guys doing performance testing from 10pm till 2.30 this morning... then got paged at 4 for a minor problem... and then was up at 7.30 and in work by 8.30. I've got to do the same again tonight too, but starting earlier, around 7pm I think, and some more work tomorrow night. I expect this to continue for the next 10 days or so. Am looking forward to the trek so that I can take a breather ! |

Wellif you had just seen what I have pulled out of the cupboard you would say that my glasses - all of them - are fullt o overflowing - 16 bottles of red wine, 5 bottles of champagne, 2 bottles of brandy, 3 bottles of port a bottle of absinthe, kentucky bourbon , 2 half bottles a bottle of gin and bottle of vodka a bottle of bacardi, I would be drunk for a year on that little lot!! hic!!! |
