Never live with an Irishman on paddy day :-((( He's doing my head in!...playing irish music, full blast all evening! 'All gods children have a place in the choir... Some sing high and some sing lower.. some sing out loud on the telephone wire.. and some they clap thier hands or paws or anything they got now!' ALL TOGETHER NOW!!! :-(((...not! I usually love all Irish music but after tonight I may have gorn orf it abit! bit of luck, he'll s*d orf to bed soon.. Gerri wiv headache...

Don't worry Gerri, by the time you go to bed he should be sound asleep and you can quite happily kick him, put your cold feet on him or even decide to go into full song yourself to get your own back!!!! I must admit, I do admire the way the Irish celebrate their Saints Day and yet us British seem to just let it sidle by .... Helen xx

This time last year we were in the Dominican and it was full of Canadians! Now do they know how to celibrate paddys day or what! We had one hell of an evening! My partner was the one and only TRUE paddy there lol They loved my little Irish gnome same as I do really....but NOT tonight! He's gonna get the full works when I hit the hay!...c o l d bum/cold feet/ digs in the back...... any more suggestions gratefully recieved.

Hi Gerri Now you have given the game away, cold bum? Brrr, in this weather it's flanny pyjamas for me. I swear my o.h. is descended from Irish Romanies - he is a Smith -he wanted to watch all the Boyzone etc music on tv last night and got huffy when I needed to switch it off to set up the recorder for the programmes I wanted. He stomped off to bed and left me in peace, hurrah!

Just to put the record straight.... HELEN was the one that suggested i use pages from family bible to make fag papers the night I ran out...lol (only used blank ones)

Gerri, the bible episode had me in absolute stitches and I do enjoy a good laff but I was just trying to prove how multi-functional the holy book can be!!!! *Wonders what it would be like if bog roll was a shortage* No, you couldn't - could you?!!! Helen x

LOL shiela Heres one for helen and the bog roll situation..... Two women on the way back from a night out stop ina graveyard for a wee... One wipes her (you know what) with her knickers and the other with a wreath The two husbands were in the pub the next day and the 1st man says ' I better watch my wife, she came home last night with no knickers on!' The 2nd husband says.....'Thats nuffink! mine had a card wedged in her Ar** saying- we'll never forget you from all the boys at the fire station!'
