Hope you are feeling better Diana. This is a lovely hymn. Faith of our Fathers : Frederick W. Faber, Jesus and Mary (London: 1849); refrain by James G. Walton, 1874. This hymn was sung at the funeral of American president Franklin Roosevelt, held in the East Room of the White House in Washington, DC. to listen to it and hear the words. http://www*cyberhymnal*org/htm/f/a/faithoof*htm Hope you feel a little better. I do know what it is like. Germaine xxxx |

Diana, I know how you feel as I lost my mother almost two years ago. I do wish you all the best and hope you come through this with the strength to carry on, in fact from what I have read on the threads I know you will. And dont forget your father will always be with you ,especially when you really need him. Love and hugs (((((hugs))))). Maddy |

Gwynne, That is the one I want. Has been a favourite since school. Apparently also known as Be thou my vision. Diana, I am sure whatever you choose will be appreciated by all. Jacky :-) |
