You click discard on the match and then save the pruned list. nell

I have been doing the same and now I realise I have pages and pages of discarded names, there must be a way to get rid of them in one go. Gloria :-((((

Just had a look and I've got 18 pages !! I'm not knocking Hot Matches but I do wish they'd tell us how to get rid of the ones we don't want - or haven't they sussed that out yet? ????

Unknown Report 26 Mar 2006 14:53

I've got 22 pages of them. Someone on here must know how to get rid of them. If we don't find out today, will nudge it for tomorrow, we WILL get a result. Gloria :-))))

Tick the ones you don't want then scroll down and press save and it will save the ones you haven't ticked Hope its makes sense Julie

Unknown Report 26 Mar 2006 15:42

Ah yes, but it saves all those you have deleted, sounds wrong, but it does. If you go into Hot matches, then at the bottom go into Ignored hot matches you will see what I mean. Gloria

Julie Report 26 Mar 2006 15:53

Don't take this the wrong way, but does it really matter - so long as you don't have to see them each time - if you don't click on 'ignored hot matches' then they won't bother you! They don't take up any space on your PC so won't cause a problem to you. Life is too short to worry unnecessarily about this sort of thing imho!! Maz. XX

sorry Gloria but I disagree! unless you have saved them somehow onto your PC then they shouldn't affect your own PC's performance - surely they are only on the site, not on our PC's ?? maybe Steve Boffin could confirm?? Maz. XX
