my son has gone but taken a packed lunch, Just realise it is our bin day today so waiting to see if they bother coming round or not. Get fed up with people complaining about their work conditions. Just look at how it was a few years ago. Even now I dont have any pension to look forward to but I am not striking about it I just get on with it. Lived below the poverty line most of my life so will continue to do so in later years. |

As fae as I can tell the schools are open in my bit of Kent (Tonbridge) today. The Reference Library's closed, but otherwise business as usual. My children are definitely at school, I've just come back from watching the eldest play hockey. |

My son's school is open today so he is at Nursery this afternoon. The adult education centre is closed though so my son isn't at their creche this afternoon. My friend has a class there this afternoon and so takes my son with hers to the creche as they are short of children! and tomorrow afternoon when I have my class I take her son their with mine (they are both 2) so we both get one child free afternnon a week. Only I don't today!! Joanne |

No one in our school is in Unison so the school was open as usual. I did drive to the library in the next village as my books were due for renewal and found it closed due to the strike ! Chris |
