do you think Moira Hindly did die in prison?? i think it was a way of releasing her so she could have her freedom!! New identity, who would know just a thought!! Helen

PinkDiana Report 4 Apr 2006 15:18

I think if she had not died then they wouldn't have been able to make that statement as i am sure the press would've wanted to see the body to prove it!! I do hope she didn't die quickly and painlessly tho and that she got to suffer a little of what she put those poor children through!! xx

I agree Jack, but lord longford campaigned for so long to get her out i just wondered if thats what happened. Mary Bell was given a new ID to carry on her life!!

I wouldn't have thought that they would dare risk it Helen. Think or the furore if someone had recognised her and guessed. Chrissie x

I think it would be very difficult to keep a thing like that secret. Dozens of people would have to be 'in the know' to help organize it, and it wouldn't take much for the story to leak out. Liz

Mags Report 4 Apr 2006 15:40

I don't think they would do it like that. As said before Mary Bell had a new identity and so did the jamie bulger boys and though given a new identity we know that has happened. They didn't lie to protect them why would they for her.

Her first name was Myra. I am absolutely certain that there is no way this could be kept a secret. nell

we dont know whats kept hush, hush though do we?? she tried for years to get her freedom, what better way to get it!!

Unknown Report 4 Apr 2006 15:41

Her first name was Myra. I am absolutely certain that there is no way she could have been secretly released. First of all too many people would know/too many tabloids would offer stonks of cash for the story and the relevant authorities would know that if the truth got out heads would roll. nell
