Exams start on 12th May - Panic time! I'm so worried and I really don't want to waste a whole year's work. I'm just going to try my best to crash in all my revision. So hopefully when I'm back I'll have something to gloat about. Especially worried about Maths - haven't yet mastered those logarithms :-s...

Logarithms are useful in two situations (1) Numbers with large ranges have logarithms that do not cover a large range (2) steps in equal ratios have logarithms that differ in equal steps. The sound intensity level scale is shorthand for the range of human hearing. For every increase in the intensity by a factor of ten the SIL increases by 10 dB. When two sources are played at the same time the SIL is just the sum of the two seperate intensities. WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT LOGS ARE USELESS NOT NEEDED LOL! Davex

I know it will be tough to stay away from the boards and we will miss you but sweetie keep your head in the books and do the best you can. See you when you finish all the exams. I will be watching to make sure your not on but then again a little sneak once in a while will help with the withdrawal symptoms. LOL Good Luck Debs
