Did anyone else play 'Kerby' in the street with a football ? - Bouncing the ball against the opposite kerb and you got another go if it bounced back to you and you caught it |

Clackers were two hard balls....oops that sounds rude....on string and you had to get them to hit each other upwards and downward and keep it going,.......caused some broken wrists and even sore noses but it was fun |

Teresa & Kate Oh how I loved those cut out dolls ,they were so much better dressed than ME!!! altho, bless em, my parents did their very best for us all,we were a big family & clothes had to be practical & able to be passed down the line for maiximum wear. We were well cared for but no frills. Shilrley |

I still have my Spirograph! (not in its original box though) Magic Robot - I go bored with it after about half an hour, when I'd sussed out how it worked. Drove my (younger) sisters mad with it though, cos I was always right! Skipping with plastic-covered clothes line, that really hurt your ankles if you were too slow when 'whipping' |

Karen, I don't remember Tressy Dolls, but, I did have a Girls World. It was a big dolls head where you could style her hair and put make up on it. I didn't like it very much though it was a freaky looking thing... |
