when are they going to deal with him properly and make him do a sentence?

Paul

Paul Report 21 Apr 2006 11:05

at the moment, I think he'd struggle to string one together....lol you're right though

PinkDiana

PinkDiana Report 21 Apr 2006 11:07

Paul - I cannot believe that he was sentenced yesterday and last night back in custody!! Is this man crying out for help or is he just an arrogant to$$er?

Computer Blonde

Computer Blonde Report 21 Apr 2006 11:08

Really don't think he's crying out for help, so...... Sharon xx

Couldn't agree more Fred!! xx

Think he has been 'up' twice recently. If the drugs laws are to mean anything, they should be pretty severe on him when he comes to trial. (guilt yet to be proved of course) happy days

He's his own worst enemy .

Pete is obviously finding it hard to fight his demons. He needs help not criticism from those who know nothing about him Gwynne

Unknown Report 21 Apr 2006 11:26

Well said Gwynne!!!!!!!!!! Too many talk about what they know nothing about..

Mags

Mags Report 21 Apr 2006 11:36

I agree he does need help as do many others out there with the same kind of problems. I do believe he has been offered that help but unfortunately with his kind of problems with addiction it often takes them hitting rock bottom before they will take help on board. I hope his rock bottom is one he can come back from. It is very hard to be judgemental unless you have in some way dealt with this type of problem on a personal level. I feel for him he looks lost to me.

Paul

Paul Report 21 Apr 2006 11:36

Clearly the man needs proper help, rather than a slap on the wrist each time he re-offends though ? The music industry media glamourising what he's doing doesn't help either...

Unknown Report 21 Apr 2006 11:42

Do u know him? because u seem to know alot about him? no,thought not.....

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 21 Apr 2006 11:44

Fred, You do not know Pete, you know nothing about him, only what the press choose to tell you. He is hurting no one but himself. Gwynne

PinkDiana

PinkDiana Report 21 Apr 2006 11:45

That's why I asked if it was a cry for help? Yes he needs help that's obvious whether the press portrayal is accurate or not.... he has a SERIOUS addiction problem and possibly other problems too and just sending him back out into society isn't obviously helping him or the people around him!! I will point out that I PERSONALLY think a CUSTODIAL sentence where he gets SERIOUS MEDICAL/PSYCOLOGICAL (sp??) help is required! But that's just my opinion!

Mags

Mags Report 21 Apr 2006 11:47

The problem with custodial scentences for people like him are that drugs are probably easier to get hold of inside the prisons than out of them.

Unknown

Unknown Report 21 Apr 2006 11:48

Gwynne,blood boiling! can't take anymore,i'm off.......

Computer Blonde

Computer Blonde Report 21 Apr 2006 11:49

I admit that I only know what is portrayed in the media, but he is certainly not giving the impression that he wants help. Rather, that he is flaunting the situation. Sharon xx

PinkDiana

PinkDiana Report 21 Apr 2006 11:49

Then put him in a rehab centre as a custodial sentence...... and make him face his demons!! I'm sorry if this offends anyone but whilst he is out on the streets he is harming others as he is glamourising drugs and young innocents will copy him!!

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 21 Apr 2006 11:51

The state that Pete is in is far more likely to put people off drugs than encourage them to take them, I would have thought. Gwynne
