Hi all, great to meet so many GR folks again, some old and some new. I had a great time with great company. Thanks to those who made all the arrangements. As for the fair in the Lockmeadow hall, I thought it was a complete waste of time. No sign of the Society of Genealogists or various other 'local counties'! Also too much repetition of all the usual books at high street prices. I won't bother with mext years fair but roll on the next GR meet.

I agree the fair was a waste of time, but the meet afterwards was great. It was lovely to see all the old faces again along with some new ones. Can't wait till the next one. Val

Hi Martyn Great to meet you & Sandra again I,m always a bit wary of these fairs cos it seem to me that everything has its overprice!!. I would like to get one of my trees printed but when do you call a halt an go into print. I,m going to look at other tree offers before i decide which one to settle on. have Legacy but its a bit difficult to navigate & print. Shirley

I didn't see much of the fair but there didn't seem to be many of the county or area stalls about. Was really good to see people and meet a few I hadn't met. And I was lucky enough to have a look at all 198 of Lynda's holiday pix too:)))

Hi everyone, The lovely Maz has just dropped me off home. We stopped off at her in laws to pick up her gorgeous children and have a cuppa. As usual I had a great day and met some very interesting and informative people. Thanks Lynda for organising the event although I must agree was not impressed with the FH Fair. James I do hope you found your cards. Jean x.

Lynda, Didn't fancy Stringfellows tonight. Too exhausted with all the nattering. Really enjoyed today. Can't wait for the wedding... I am so excited... Do you think Rick and Jan would bring it forward to next Saturday if I ask nicely? Jean x.

* curtseys to Lord and Lady Bletchingley and HRH * Hellooooo !!! I am home and the kids are asleep at last! What a lovely day :-))) met some really nice new people - Tina, Marie and Sarah, Jay, Gwen, Beryl and Dawn! We all got on like houses on fire! Was fantastic to see some of you again who I haven't seen for ages - Sandra & Martyn, Val, Dee for example - and it was absolutely brilliant to catch up on Sue's amazing story. Food was great, company was hilarious - we are fab people at the Kent meets!! Took just a few pix and will post them tomorrow. Roll on the next one :-)))) Maz. XX
