So sorry to hear about your Dad, Margaret. It must have been an awful shock to you all. But, as many have said, you have nothing to feel guilty about. You couldn't have done better. From what I gather you have a youngish family of your own, so at least you'll all be comfort for eachother until time starts to heal the wounds. Kind thoughts and lots of hugs to you all. Margaret |

Sad to hear your news but you must not feel guilty in any way - you did all you could and more for your dad but his time had come. I know how difficult it is to sort out parent's homes and you want to keep everything but you are not turning your back on him, you will remember lots of things and eventually the good memories will make you smile. Take your time in grieving and feel free to talk to any of us on here if you need to. Liz |

Hi Margaret, I know you don't know me but I really do feel for you. I lost my dad 16 years ago and round the time of his death I do get a bit sad but I can still feel him near. I remember all the good and wacky things he used to do with us and it does help. ((((((hugs)))))) Anne |
