Jeanette, I think the excitement is too much for her lol !! ok have made a note. I read Kingdom of Shadows years ago. Although I enjoyed it (Barbara Erskine is the queen of timeslip lol) I would rather read something new, so will go for the Judy Picoult. I've got a feeling I've read Cider with Rosie too, but I know it is short, so will try and fit that one in too. I was really hoping for Memoirs of a Geisha as I have it here in my 'pile'! Am I allowed to suggest that one again next month? Maz. XX

Please post on here when seen. Maz, I have read Memoirs of a Geisha. Yes, OK suggest it next month, or read it anyway and review it for us. I read Kingdom of Shadows years ago and fancied re-reading it. I have just read Jodi Piccoult's My Sister's Keeper and it was very good so look foward to this one. Ann Glos Ann Glos

Would be nice to put 'Memoirs of a Geisha' up for the vote again next month - I've had it sat here for ages (years in fact) and haven't got around to reading it, but apparently it is very good. Fingers crossed it will come up next time. Kaye x

Hi All! Sorry I've been absent most of the last month. I will join in and will def. read Vanishing Act, and hopefully one other. I need to obtain copies of them first, so I'll get a move on. I did manage to read Brave New World last month which I enjoyed (I think that's the right word for it - certainly food for thought) so I'll leave my review on your other thread. Thanks to Nolls for lending that to me. We've been building our patio in the back garden, and in between the computer crashing, and my husband 'fixing it' I've not been able to get on line much. Hope you are all ok? Mags. x

You lot put me to shame. lol I managed to get hold of Cider with Rosie at the weekend - after searching all over two shops for it, I finally found it under Biography! I have started it and am enjoying it, but I doubt I'll get it finished in time to read another - especially as I was going to read Kingdom of Shadows and you're all saying how big it is - one for another time I think.
