Finished Cider and Vanishing but only about 200 pages into Kingdom. Don't think I'll have it finished in time. Really good books this month. Oh, and I've also written my reviews for the 2 I've finished before I forgot what I'd read! lol Jeanette x |

Hi all Have read Vanishing act and Kingdom of Shadows and enjoyed both - got to go and hunt thro a box of books still unpacked from moving for Cider with Rosie hope doesn't take too long! I must also remember to write my review after i read a book lol Memory getting befuddled! Kaz :o) |

If I should forget to do the review thread on Friday would somebody please give me a reminder. i have visitors coming to stay the night nd you know what it is like??? Blitz the house, hide all the rubbish etc etc. Oh yes we are also having cavity wall insulation on Friday so there will be workmen wanting coffee etc. But the thread will go up... With your help. Mags - how did you manage to read all three so quickly, you did remember to eat and visit the toilet didn't you? I am still reading Cider with Rosie and am really enjoying it - going to be hard pushed to finish this one in time, let alone either of the other two. I'm going to buy Kingdom of Shadows anyway though as it sounds really good. Will try and be ready for the review. lol Kaye x |

How's everyone doing, I've now read all three!! Woo hoo. Just need to remember what the first one was about lol. Note to self. Write review after reading book. Couldn't put down Kingdom of Shadows, and yes it's a big book! I also really enjoyed Vanishing Acts, and thought Cider with Rosie was OK. Will get on with the reviews .... Have we done a vote for next months' books yet? Nolls, when are you around, I can pop Cider with Rosie back to you? Otherwise I'll leave on the hall windowsill if you need it sooner? Mags. x |

Have read Cider with Rosie and I'm getting on quite well with Vanishing Acts, which I'm enjoying more than I thought I would! Have got Kingdom of Shadows but not sure if I'll get it finished on time! Jeanette x |

You lot put me to shame. lol I managed to get hold of Cider with Rosie at the weekend - after searching all over two shops for it, I finally found it under Biography! I have started it and am enjoying it, but I doubt I'll get it finished in time to read another - especially as I was going to read Kingdom of Shadows and you're all saying how big it is - one for another time I think.
