Hi, thanks for your concern, but I did wrong, I broke the rules. I swore, and swore badly, and lost my temper. Granted maybe a lot of people felt the same way, and felt like saying what I did, but it isn't the point, if Genes suspend or withdraw my membership they are just enforcing their own rules, if they make an acception for me then it is not fair on anyone else who finds themselves in that positions to be suspended. I am no exception, I am no better or more important than any other member on the board, I always tried to say to each person....you are important....each of us is and I meant it. But because I really do think this way, no exception should be made for me. I appreciate everything some people have tried to do, but really I don't want it on my behalf, I really can not cope with the fuss it has caused. I do feel embarassed, and even if Genes did let me stay, I think for me it really is the end. Sometimes because you stick to being you, even trying to keep the peace can annoy some people, not just in Genes but in life. I do feel so sad for everything that happened to people this week on Genes, but I also see some people have milked the whole thing, not for Jess or Elaine but for their own...look at me....see how wonderful I am campaign, which is as bad as the bullies. Each time we had 5 minutes relief....they brought it back. Because of this it got so lots of people were at each others throats....trust has gone....we look suspiciously at new names....I can't do it I wanted to give everyone a chance....it was idealistic....but hey I am, and a fool. I have tried to stay true to myself here.....a bit ditsy with a fun side ready to laugh with anyone.....sympathetic if needed, anyone who confided I kept their confidences, to the point I regularily cried at some of the pain and hurt I saw people endure on and off Genes. I don't want any petitions or threads, just let the board return to normal, I intend to write to Genes myself asking they ignore any pleas on my behalf....I did wrong, even if it was for the right reasons....I did wrong and now should pay for it. One thing for sure....I will not come back under another name...I will not hold a grudge, or cause trouble, I doubt very much I will be back once Genes hear...and hear they will, but I can handle that, what I can't take is being responsible for causing upset, so please if you have a thread up, remove it. Don't start or sign petitions, it just makes those who want me to go either stand out or sign when they don't mean it....and like I say...I know who they are anyway so whats the point. I always only ever wanted the board to be ok...so please try to keep it that way. Take care each of you,and please let this take its course it was my own fault. Love Lems XX

Lems, you stood against bullying and intimidation, which is to be admired. Others have sworn on the boards and not been suspended - I'm hoping GR will take the same view with you. Gwynne x

Hi Lemon I am very, very tired this morning and still pretty sad too, so I hope I get these words right. Please forgive me if I don't do too well. I can't condone the actual language you used BUT you were standing up for what is right, so I would be very sad if GR were to take any action against you. I understand fully what you were trying to do and I think we all reach that meltdown point sometimes when we might go a bit over the top. But I also admire you for admitting that perhaps it wasn't the best choice of language and that you are willing to take any punishment on the chin. It's also very sad that all the hard work we did to try and stamp out the nasties was spoiled in one second. I hope you've got some sleep and have a good day, and also hope that you are still an active member by the end of the day! Love and hugs Mandy xx

If you go, they are getting their wish, they are picking off members, one by one. Something was said that led me to this conclusion - something about cliques - immediately I realised what their problem is. They thrive on anonymity and attention - both of which they get on this board. They are jealous of other people's popularity. They don't realise that you are only popular because you are a good person. People cannot keep up the pretence of being a nice and caring person, their true personality always comes through - and that is their downfall. Please don't beat yourself up about this Lemon.......have a good day - and stay.......

Lemon I seldom post on these boards, but watch from the sidelines. What has gone on last night was most unpleasant and you had the courage to say what many felt. Agreed, the language was not pleasant, but that is the point you were pushed to. I do hope you stay. I enjoy reading your threads and you are often the voice of reason and have tried to calm things down. If you have to go for a while, please come back! Christine

It would be a very sad day if you should leave Lems, you one of the nicest most genuine people i have come accross. I have watched over the months how so many members have left this board, through sheer playground arguements that have got out of hand. If my children had behaved in this way i would have grounded them for a month. I didn't see the thread where you say you swore, but im sure many other members will have felt as you did. i for one find it amazing that people who really don't know each other personally can get so wound up with each other. Morning Mandy, if I hindered the staming out of nasties i apologise for that too. But please do take care as stamping sometimes squashes the wrong people in the haste to right a wrong. I said this before and was pushed down, then it happened, it is just as bad to trample on one innocent person as it is to let a perpetrator go loose. Oh Lemon no idea what has happened this weekend............HOWEVER feel the need to echo the sentiments of the others. Lemon Nelly your human and your allowed to voice your opinion and swear and lets be honest I've never seen the latter. Something must have outraged you greatly and again this is unusual for you as you are the peace maker and as one member has already written 'the voice of reason' I admire you Nelly Lemon for this thread and totally understand .
