Missed most of last night as I had family here all day - and had to do the real talking stuff so throat sore this morning! Have had a look since though and it's encouraging that so many tried to lighten the mood so the board will survive, it's not all the 'look at me's' although if nothing else I reckon we have them sussed out now. You snapped - we all have our limits, and I am much less tolerant than you. I don't usually swear - this idiot at the age of 10 asked her mum what the f word meant, it means getting a heck of a row! - but very occasionally I have been pushed and retaliated accordingly. It's obvious that's not your normal way. If you do go you'll be sorely missed but hope to see you back soon and look forward to meeting you later. Christine xx

OK Lems In accordance with your wishes I have deleted from Babs thread. however I will put on here what I said because I meant it. there are, as we know only too well, people who infiltrate this board for the only reason to cause strife amongst other members and upset, and they like to see innocent people banned. Unfortunately last night one of our most liked and respected members was goaded to reply in no uncertain terms. While I don't condone swearing on the board I have every sympathy with Lemon and would hope that GR can see through the instigator's ploy enough to avoid banning her. While Lems doesn't want a petition she must allow us to say our piece or the next time it will happen again with somebody who is not as strong as lemon. Ann Glos

Lemon I'm a newbie and no I have no idea what all the shennannigans have been about - just that they appeared to be very unpleasant. I did read your thread yesterday and i admit i was surprised and taken aback by the language used, but i'm no prude and suspected the cause must have been pretty serious. I deliberately chose not to get involved, as its not my argument. However I have read this post this morning and I think you have handled yourself in a very dignified and decent way in accepting responsibility for your posting and for that I want to say thank you. It takes a good and generous person to do that.Which by all accounts you are. Whatever happens next I wish you all the best for the future although like others I will miss your voice. Jenx

I imagine that the reports sent to abuse, would have been about one person only. I sent the 'origional' thread ... but that was number 1 .... you replied to number 2 ... so its obvious that he was out to cause hurt and trouble. If Genes look at all the evidence, then I'm sure you will be here with us this afternoon, tonight , tomorrow and all the tomorrows that follow. Lemon, you have everyone's respect ... most of all mine. You said exactly what I was screaming at the computer, the only difference was that I stopped my self from adding to the thread. You, myself and Jess have all had ton's of support, both on and off the boards, but there is a valuable lesson to be learnt by EVERYONE. That lesson is - DO NOT ADD TO PROVOCATIVE / BAITING THREADS. Let them die a natural death. The ONLY person who can keep the threads going, is the person who posts them. Those people can talk to themselves all day and night ... they soon get fed up of being ignored. Hopefully Bab's will remove the thread that I have signed - I'm sorry, I can NOT remove my support for you, it goes against the grain, I stand by everything I have done and said. A complete run down, minute by minute account of yesterdays events will be sent to Genes, IF you are suspended. Although, I say again, I doubt you will be suspended. Swear words have been used on the boards many times before. I imagine a 'warning' would be more appropriate. You, myself and possibly others are having *major* problems with the messaging system, getting error messages when you go to inbox etc etc .... it is for this reason that I have NOT messaged you privately, I don't want to add to the burden !! .... hope that particular problem gets sorted sooner rather than later.
