A member of GR – I don’t need to name her- , rang me last night. She listened and said she understood the place I was at. I very much appreciated that. Thinking on, I realise one thing that she said to me was true , and having given it some thought I realise she is right – She said ‘’come back JESS’, I said that JESS would never return and that I , under another guise might- quite simply because I enjoy GR and all that it stands for. I have , over the last couple of days, with the help of a few other members ( who will remain nameless) got to the bottom of what caused the ‘I hate Jess’ campaign- and it is an issue surrounding adoption – maybe things I have had and they haven’t , where I am at now with my adoption story, and how I can talk about it, and share with other where as they can’t – and part of that journey has been here, talking with other adoptees and seeing the bigger picture. Really, I think I feel not anger with the instigator of the troubles, but sadness and sorrow – the adoption journey is never easy and you never get all the answers or even the whole truth – maybe I have more than and I know others have far more than me. I think I have come to realise that it is ‘the other ‘ that has the problem and not me, If I can help just one more adoptee, then its worth being here. If there is one that I cant, well, we can’t do everything we want to in this life. Jess x x x Bless her heart, she has just sent me a text too- Thanks you,

Oi Kipper chops - you know damned well that YOU were the one that listened when I howled last night. YOU were the one that made me REALLY realise that I can only be 'me' and that if 'me ' is what they cant hack , well, it shouldn't be me that changes - simple as that - Too much for a text message - besides everyone should know what a lovely person you really are.
