I may not be around much today as I am feeling a bit under the weather. In the past i had a bite that I had a bad reaction to, it was a good thing that my tetanus jab was up to date. So this time, when my hand swelled up, I had to go to the hospital, I have a booster tetanus, antibiotics and worst of all, my hand is in a sling, so typing one handed doesn't come easy. have a good weekend everyone. june xx

we get nasty bities. last time i got bitten , the doctor said , seriously, if you were going to die ,you would have known by now. red back spider, comforting,. hope you are better soon, regards, an unknown caring me

Hope it soon gets better June. Whenever I get bitten by a mozzie, I get a huge swelling in the whole area, out of all proportion to the bite! Last week I was bitten on the top of my foot. The whole foot was swollen for days, I couldn't even get shoes on! I don't usually take any medication, it just goes on its own in around 3 days. Dee x

Worst bite I had was from the dreaded 'Blandford Fly' when I lived down near Bournemouth. They have good and bad years for them. Hope you feel better soon xx

My daughter is resting her foot up at the moment after a mozzie bite. It's all red and swollen. Doctor gave her some drops to take and cream to put on the bite. Hope you're feeling better soon June. Margaret
