I watched MOST of it. What I did watch was quite good. I'm sorry that it tends to focus on people who are above size 10 though ? What about the stick insects who believe they are too thin ?... and can NOT put weight on no matter what. They DO exist but are not at the forefront of public discussion. In fact I've never seen or heard of that problem being discussed ever ? Elaine ;-)

Hi McAnne, it was a new series on channel 4 last night..........stylist gave a few good tips.............one being about your underwear....so many of us ladies are wearing the wrong size bra and another was how to get the right impact on what we were. On again next tuesday at 8.30.............i for one am going to give it another look. R.B.

I just feel so much for those of us who are ' above average' size, that are shown as show cases for the rest of us to use as an example of what the rest of us may or may not consider the *norm* There is no 'norm' ... we are what we are at the end of the day. If our health is affected because of our size, then yes, try and do something to change it ... that goes for stick insects and cuddly people alike. I thought that lady last night had a lovely curvy figure, and I could have cried and died for her when she took her clothes off. But the meer fact that the programme has been made in the first place, just shows how opinionated we, as a society are. No wonder some of us have got 'hang ups' about our bodies. Elaine ;-))

It was good!! really enjoyed it but what were those glasses that man was wearing????? Bra's - if it rides up at the back - its too big.... go down a back size and up a cup size..... for instance if you wear a 36D and its riding up then try a 34E and you'll find its a better fit!! xx

Same for blokes, girls! Size shouldn't matter! TeHe! However. I watched the program and thought the guy did an excellent job building the womans confidence. She had a quite pretty face, which wasn't mentioned other than when they did her hair, but the the final result when they did her makeup etc was very effective, and drew your attention.

I watched the programme and I was really happy for the lady on it. How nice she regained the confidence not only to undress in front of the camera, but to go naked wow!!!!! what an a achievement. I could never do that I don't even own a full length mirror. Christine I tried the bust measurements and they don't work out for me. They tell me I'm a C cup well I can tell you that I'm definately rather larger than that. I always have trouble getting a bra to fit., also too embarressed to go into shop and get fitted. Lindax

Linda - take a mate with you to M & S - the ladies there are very good - you don't even have to take your bra off you know!! (well she didn't make me when I had mine done after the kids were born!) I agree with Elaine here - most of these type of programmes tend to deal with well-endowed ladies - how about something for those of us who struggle to fill an A cup?! I can identify with the bottom halves, but not the tops! oh and I would KILL to have a waist like hers! I thought she looked fantastic! Maz. XX

Ladies, Ladies....I didn't watch the programme....but surely you must know that if a lady feels attractive about herself, then others will find her so also! All these hang-ups about our hang downs, all this not wanting to be seen naked...all the angst about what size we are! Soooo off putting to the male of the species (I would think anyway - c'mon guys reassure us)! Be happy with what you are! Make the best of what you have! Dress to kill no matter what size you happen to be. Believe you are gorgeous! Dee X

Thanks Maz and Christine for advice. I also agree with you maz about the smaller females. My daughter(16yrs) is 5ft 10ins size eight and only a 32AA cup. She hates her body and keeps saying that she would like a boob job. I hope she doesn't but then if she feel so bad then who am I to stand in her way. Perhaps she will feel differently in a few years. I don't find the sizing works for me either, they usually have how to measure in mail order catalogues. The trouble with fashion is, that normally they only seem to cater for one type of figure at a time, and then you have to be the correct height etc, no wonder we get hang ups when we can't find anything to suit. The guy with the glasses, did you notice that awful earring thing he wore?
