We went for a boat trip on the River Wey at Guildford and explored Dapdune Wharf. It seems the River Wey was one of the first British rivers to be made navigable, and opened to barge traffic in 1653

Went with a friend to a Pulmonary Rehab Festival. She has COPD and is going to the rehab classess and what a difference it`s made to her breathing. There were about 100 people there from all over Glasgow, they did their exercises and we as visitors could join in , we had a buffet lunch and got a free t- shirt. It was interesting to me as a nurse. Ros

It is lovely. I lived in Bognor for 10 years, the last two or three about 200 yards from the sea. It was a nice 10 minute walk alongside the sea into town to work, really soothing. And the new place is even better, cos it's smaller, so less people about. Can't wait! Nature reserve close by, too. You'll have to come down for a paddle, Dee. update - Yes Gwyn, around Bognor & the day has been hot & sunny! :-)))) Jen
