There was so much unpleasantness on the above thread, that it has quite soured what was a happy and festive spirit on here so here is my suggestion: (for what it is worth.) If you posted any comment on that thread, why not delete it? If we all do so, regardless of the nature of our posting, the thread would be threadbare!!! lol and hopefully end up where it belongs. That would be our way of declaring an amnesty in the trenches! I will start the ball rolling - just off to delete any comments I made. Liz

Very sad that people get so upset. its one of the reasons that I dont post much cos I dont want to be misinterpreted and get jumped on Why cant people accept that EVERYONE can have different views,or,can read things into things that werent meant when the poster replied. All very sad!!

i think it will continue while gr do nothing about it.i had just started gaining confidence to reply to threads and to start adding myself,and then the thread itself,and some of the replies it just leaves me speechless at some people,it really does.as ive stated on that thread it has been going on for years.same ones jumping in,instead of ignoring.but it is getting much worse.wishing you all a good xmas x

It is quite boring to read all the way through, but I just felt it might prove a point if everyone deleted, to show we don't really want to have nastiness and sniping on here, and that we can all backtrack rather than let it go on and on, especially if the person who started the thread is out for trouble. Would just leave her high and dry if all the other comments went! Hi Rose, if you are still awake. Hi Teresa, hope your flight goes ok. Have you got some rescue remedy handy, it might help you hubby if he is nervous and shut Uncle up too!! And calm the kids!! My o.h. has gone off flying, and I had only just got him to do it about 6 years ago. Anyway will leave it to you, if this thread goes wonky, will delete this too. Teresa, the rescue remedy would do them more good than booze and you really need some sensible help with those children, so maybe worth trying to get them to take it, you can take it with valium but valium shouldn't be taken with alcohol, you don't want to be turned back from the flight!! I do wonder why Constance has only returned to reply to me, and in the way that he /she has. Pretty obvious though I guess. if making an anagram out of her/his name is the most offensive thing on the thread, the thing he/she finds the most objectional then i am surprised If Constance is a member on FTF ,then what i say IS correct - and the thread she started is point in case - bored there, so came over here and was potentially contraversial. Her crtisisim in my turning the thread into toilet humour, was,as I said and appologised for, was in an attempt to turn the thead into humour- obviously failed. pretty pointles to delete my replies now

Personally I do not think any one should delete their posts unless they are sorry for what they said. If they do an explanation should be left as to why they retract. I did not add to the thread because it was obvious to me that it was posted purely to stir up trouble and Constance's post on the anti-bullying thread confirmed this. Just because it is supposedly the 'season of goodwill to all men' doesn't mean that people can be allowed to post anything they please on this board and we should ignore it. If Constance is genuine about her thread and it was an honest question it might be a good idea if she backed it up by letting us know what pseudonym she uses on the 'other side'. Jean.

I wont be removing my posts I second everything Jean has said. Its the second time the person in question has attacked me on my anti bullying thread, not to mention the digs on my conga thread a few days ago. no new member unatatched from the first would do something identical to what her namesake did . Its easy to say ignore when you have not been attacked by this person , but im not going to ignore and let this person carry on their tirade against me. Sorry Elaine x

I agree with Jean and Elaine I didn't add to it cos I thought it was a load of crapony. It was obviously put up to get people's backs up. Don't know who constance is don't really care-people constantly keep changing their names is a pain, they obviously get some pleasure out of it. catherine xx

The comment on my anti bully thread has secured Constances Exit from GR she has been removed from the site by abuse Thanks to all those members who saw through her, and to those few who supported her .....Gr now have their proof that she is the same person as before. Elaine x

well well well here we go again. I have virtually given up posting anything on this site. I have had a couple of good connections this week so have been looking in. This thread was very well worded at the beginning so well done to you for a very good effort. But then you get people saying they will not delete and yet only recently the same people had told me to delete things I had put which were really meant as a joke and didnt need deleteing. So its another case of double standards upsetting the boards yet again.
