Hi Mike, We had a terrible problem with ants In the kitchen, they were just everywhere, it happened over night,got up in the morning and we had a sea of them. Im a huge animal/nature lover but I really didnt want to share my kitchen with a field of ants!lol Hubby found this gadget in one of the shops here,we pluged it in and waited,after 2 hours you could see them moving in a steady line into a tiny crack in the wall, never to be seen again!! MAGIC;-))

I have two ,to keep cats out of the garden [sorry Pussy tat lol]mine work on two flat batteries[pp9] and work very well These battery versions can be bought for cats ,dogs ,mice and rats so i suppose can be bought for ants and the like too,i hope so anyway cause i may need them myself this year if we get the summer predicted.Fred.

Fred My cat is a house cat. Any other cats I have had were outdoor. I hate it when you find a cat had been doing the loo in the garden. It is annoying but..I like cats,so I put up with it. If I see one in the garden I chase it though, making sure there are no cars abour first lol. Marion

Hi Marion,i know what you mean,i love animals and wouldn't hurt one for the world ,but i hate cats,or dogs fouling my garden because of the risk to my grandchildren when they come to stay,muck from either animal ingested,or reaching the bloodstream via a cut can ,and sometimes does cause permanent blindness. It's all so avoidable,being known to some pet lovers that starting cats off with litter trays as kittens ,then putting the litter trays in the garden later as pussy grows up ,will keep that animal using the tray all the time .These cats would be welcome in my garden,giving me the chance to pick them up and stroke them[can't have one in the house because of Liz's empysema],and i do miss my childhood pets so much.,so ,come on you so called pet lovers ,show some reponsibility and train your pets ,and yourselves lol.Fred.

I have heard Lion dung scares cats off.I dont know anyone who has a lion though lol. Marion

I don't use any electric mouse repellant as we have Bats at various times of the year and there are protected by Law, and you cannot disturb them in any way so remember that.

Marion My dad lived in a lovely old house and had mice which used to drive him mad. Im sorry to say i used to love watching them come out and climb up the big brick fireplace (they never used to be bothered about us) but i didnt have to live there and listen to them running around at night! Im sure he used the ultrasonic device to get rid of them, as they never came back.

Don't have bat's, so don't need to worry about them. They all say they are safe for cat's and dog's but,will effect hamsters,gerbals etc. Still nothing in the trap since the other day. It has been wet and wundy here but not cold enough to bring the 'little guests ' indoors. Thank's everyone for your replies. Marion
