Hi Everyone Those of you who know me will know I am generally a very patient and laid back sort of person. I came back to Genes with a mission really. That was as a peacekeeper. It was lovely to be welcomed back by so many and lovely to meet new people along the way. Hopefully some of you will remember me as a good person and one who cares a lot about this site and you the members. For anyone that I may have upset at anytime I have been on here, I apologize as that was never my intention and hopefully you will see me as the genuine person I try to be.. Recent events on here have left me disheartend with the site also, something I thought I would never say. Genes may break my spirit but they will not break my heart of gold.. Being a peacekeeper requires the back up of the sites superiors also and I am sorry to say that has not happened. For this reason and before I lose my integrity I will step back out for a while. I say this many times. I am never far away, keep in touch please. I am sure some of you already have my contact details. Please feel free to pass these on I hope you find peace. Colin

Colin - l have just come onto the boards and seen so much sadness - what is wrong with people. You have really tried so hard to be peacemaker, infact you have achieved it in so many ways, yes you do have a heart of gold - but sadly this sort of thing will always be and the powers that be will never deal with it - they must be blind thats all l can say. l understand completely why you are stepping back, well done for doing so. Colin I'm shocked! You have always been the perfect gentleman to me, and always ready to give the best useful advice on a variety of things. Your lovely introduction thread is tribute to the kind of person you really are. I hope you don't stay away too long, you will be sorely missed on these boards.

Colin, Please don't stay away too long. If all of us who try to keep the peace step back, what will happen to the boards. There have been some good times on here during this last week with your introduce yourself thread, in fact I thought we were getting back to old times. Then friday arrived and chaos again. Colin Ive known you on this site for only a short time but, Ive always found you to be a friendly and very nice guy. Im sorry you feel as thought you have to step away. I wish you would reconsider please. Whatever you do stay safe, will miss your lovely friendly and happy threads on here. Linda. x

Hi colin, I know you have tried to be the peacemaker as always. I think you need to do what is right for you though, so maybe staying away for a while is the right thing to do. I am lucky though, I will still see you each day elsewhere. Take care, Teresa

Helloooo Colin, Oh gosh Colin.......sorry to hear you say this. When I caught your 'Introduce yourselves' thread on here and read the replies...I thought 'Yes, GR has got a chance of being like TYFH' The lad (you) has done it again' But, it seems not, not yet anyway. But why is what I am asking? I think the answer is twofold. First of all TYFH is smaller. Secondly, we have you at the helm of TYFH, and you just don't let things go awry. Whatever you choose to do is fine with me. It's a shame though, because you really tried didn't you? I'll catch you on our friendly site. Cheers Norah

I've been away on holiday for two weeks and come back to find that things have been happening to upset people again!!! I don't know what exactly but whatever it is please don't let them get to you Colin....they tried to get to me but I found your site and with the help of you and the lovely people on TYFH I became a stronger person and thank you for that. To those who haven't met Colin let me tell you he is a great person to know and a true friend, a funny yet also a serious person who would help anyone and always tries to see the good in people even when the rest of us would probably give up. He will be missed on here but luckily I will still see him on TYFH which is a far friendlier site. Linda xx
