We have 2 - 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs. Think Spanish must call me the madwoman from England - cos the number of times the one downstairs goes off when I am cooking - so sensitive what. Even had a shower left bathroom door open and the one upstairs goes off.................... Still better safe than sorry. Mary xx |

Not out here we don't, not sure whether we can get them. Concrete houses less likely to burn, but could lose the kitchen. Rosalind |

We have 2. One upstairs and one downstairs. We also check them regularly! Those who have firemen to test theirs had better give Donna the next testing dates so that she can just happen to be visiting! Jacky :-) |

Batteries should be checked every twelve months and the detector should be free from dust...McAnne you should have one failing that get onto your local council who would be only to happy to send you round a hunky fireman to sort you out!!!LOlxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(((((: |
