Hello June, I feel a bit guilty reading what everyone else has been doing this afternoon as all I've done is look at all the threads on here and watch a film we videod last night, Message in a Bottle - (horrible wet day here and I was busy with grandsons last week as they were on half term) mind you I was knitting a cardy for great-grandaughter at the same time as the latter so I wasnt entirely idle! Found out a couple of old photos of me in the guides too many years ago to mention as I found a thread about who was in the guides and brownies. |

I had an afternoon in the garden - first time in ages - putting in a few plants and making more plans. I did get rained on but it was so lovely to be outside. |

I looked up all the registration district references for 4 surnames for the years 1984 to 2004 in the death index on Ancestry. This was to help a friend with her one-name study. Tedious but necessary.... and I hadn't realised how the references had changed so much in more recent years. Gwyn |

Went to the gym and pumped iron. On the way home picked up wife's prescription at the pharmacy. Had to rush back before they closed as they had given her someone else's pills. Finally got home and opened a bottle of red wine which should be available on prescription but ain't.. len |
