My friend had this a couple of years ago and is ok now. Thinking positive thoughts for your niece, who must be scared after what happened to your other niece. Hope all works out for her. Liz |

Thank you all for your positive thoughts, i didn't realize that bowel cancer was so common (if i can you use the word)as i see quite a few have relatives who have had the disease. I will stay positive for Sharon as hope and play that it is early stages. Thank you once again. Val |

My bosses wife got bowel cancer in her 40s and is fine now, and my brother had it 7 years ago. He left it for a year despite nagging by his wife to go to see the doctor. He had an operation and didn't even need chemotherapy. Thankfully it is one of the cancers that can be treated, my brother is just thankful he didn't get lung cancer like my mum had. Chin up and crossing fingers |
