About 7.10pm I looked out and saw these really black clouds, Went outside to bring in the washing & heard rumbles Rang Kyle at his mates, & he was home in five, having ran all the way home. Ten mins later for about 20 mins weve had an almighty downpour, with a mild storm so bad visability was poor. Anyone else had the storm/downpour yet ? Elaine x |

Elaine,I had just got in the car and drove in that.Had umbrella in boot.Crawled over back seat and took middle panel to reach inside boot for it.Got it, got out of car in my flip flops and wished i had webb feet. lol It still looks very bleak now. Annie |

We had torrential rain earlier this evening in Manchester but no thunder storms. Son went to school this morning in just his t-shirt, despite being told not to, came home looking like a drowned rat!! Same with daughter, only she rang her dad from the bus and asked him to meet her from work with a coat. She had a white blouse on and was showing a bit more than she intended!!! Nice and quiet now. Morning everyone ! Bet the grass will be 6ft tall by the weekend then ! Seriously though, the rain was so heavy at one point I wondered if some places in Harlow would get flooded again. I think it was raining in the night, but its dry now although I think It still feels muggy to me ! Elaine x |
