We had another storm yesterday (thur) with lashing rain. Kyle got home at 4pm looking like a drowned rat. Looks like it wants to rain again today Elaine x |

Well we've had this darn rain & wind since Tuesday . Thunderstorms gave us 2 power cuts. It's still raining hard & it feels so COLD that I'm going to light a fire today rather than put the heating on. To think I was on the beach on Sunday and getting sun burnt on Monday!! Much happiness Debii |

Yep was in tesco small trolley of shopping.....car about 2 hundred yards away, slight drizzle.......trolley stopped on magnetic strip.......so with about seven bags on me arms started off to car, halfway across the sky opened up.. I got absolutely soaked..........wind blew me hat off.....glasses so wet I couldnt see through em!! Bob |

We had heavy rain for about 10 minutes & the loudest thunder I ever heard - like a gun shot! A friend came over later from about 1 1/2 miles away & she never heard the thunder just some rumbling!!! Another friend came over from about 5 miles north & she had to come through floods!! We are all in Herts |

Morning everyone ! Bet the grass will be 6ft tall by the weekend then ! Seriously though, the rain was so heavy at one point I wondered if some places in Harlow would get flooded again. I think it was raining in the night, but its dry now although I think It still feels muggy to me ! Elaine x |

We had torrential rain earlier this evening in Manchester but no thunder storms. Son went to school this morning in just his t-shirt, despite being told not to, came home looking like a drowned rat!! Same with daughter, only she rang her dad from the bus and asked him to meet her from work with a coat. She had a white blouse on and was showing a bit more than she intended!!! Nice and quiet now. Elaine,I had just got in the car and drove in that.Had umbrella in boot.Crawled over back seat and took middle panel to reach inside boot for it.Got it, got out of car in my flip flops and wished i had webb feet. lol It still looks very bleak now. Annie |
