Not a nurse Ann but worked as a Secretary in a London Teaching Hospital 1964 and prior to that in a Northern District Hospital. Its pretty true to life. The grand round, smoking, nurses and doctors relationships, and the terrifying sister. Have good memories of the old NHS so think it will be like reliving my past a little.

As a patient do remember Matron's rounds. Not sure if Matron is missed so much as a good Ward Sister.

I watched the second episode Ann and now I have worked everyone out - quite enjoyed it - especially remembering the styles.
