Back to Roses, I have the most beautiful red climber going up the front if the house. It us about ten years old now, flowers for a good ten months of the year, more if mild. It blew down in the high winds this time last year and was laying across the lane. |

Ann, your Buddleia won't flower quite yet. July, August and even into October is the best time for them, you should have lots of butterflies. |

Lol Wisechild, I suppose being an Island it would be windy like Lanzarote. The good thing is that it blows the clouds away. |

AnninGlos - I know what you mean about about the huge waves in Lanzarote! They are mesmerising! I tried for age to photograph them when I was there, but could never capture them at their best! :-D |

Hello everyone. Only my second year of rose growing and it is so exciting watching them. They are all climbers, all smell like roses should, and vary from peach to pale pink. Compassion, Aloha, and Zephrin Douhrin if you dont mind :-D I cluck over them like they were babies and when one got mildew I was devastated! But, with the help of the Roseman (Merlin) I think I have beaten it. They are all in containers as only have a patio. |
