Sitting here in my garden in the morning sunshine, sipping a cup of elderflower and burdock tea, the sounds of the late spring are all around me. The woodpigeons are cooing and the blackbirds are singing their hearts out for the pure joy of doing so. A woodpecker is the percussion section of the morning orchestra and is rattling away in the copse at the end of the drive. A persistent cuckoo is calling from the same place.

The lazy buzzing of honey bees in the lilac trees is a mellow contrast to the gentle murmuring of the crystal brook as it meanders past the bottom of the garden, providing a course for the iridium flash of a kingfisher. Rabbits bob through the long grass in the hay meadow, where the wild buttercups and orchids sway in time together in the soft breeze.

What's that? A strange noise! Oh, it's dan the young labrador, sicking up the remains of a stinking dead rabbit and rolling in it. What a lovely hound he is.

I wondered what the punch line was going to be to your beautiful lyrical discourse.

Dogs are so yuck at times.

Awww, BC you need some peace and tranquility. Theres a room here anytime you want a break from the noise of the city.

In fact theres one room that is really quiet indeed, grandmas old room........

Anyway, as i was saying........
