	has died, aged 65. Davy Jones, British-born lead singer with 60s band The Monkees, has died aged 65, his publicist has confirmed. He died in his sleep at his home in Florida. His publicist, Deborah Robicheau, said he had a massive heart attack. The band, who included musicians Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork, were famous for hits including Daydream Believer and I'm a Believer.

	I loved Davy Jones, used to swoon and sigh at the telly when the Monkees were on. Mind I was only 7 or so. Sad news :-(

	I have just seen on the news, how sad and he was no age. I loved watching the Monkeys in the school summer holidays. I love their music, even my 13 year old knows who they are. I have the cd in my car. Teresa
