Oooh Ann, sending lots of (((((hugs))))) and sympathy. I have a lot of problems with my toe nails and go to have them sorted every 8 weeks. For such small thigs they can cause a lot of pain so I hope the op will solve your problem. |

I had to have both my big toe nails off a few years ago, they also killed the nail bed to stop it regrowing, been great no pain now the nails are gone. My grandson has obviously inherited my prob and had to have his removed but they did not kill the nail bed, he still has problems and is due to go and have it removed again and the nail bed killed. It is not as bad as it sounds I wore sandalls until they had healed, went to Spain and the sun healed them fast. So when you have to go to have it removed, book a sunny holiday and make it worth it. Elaine. ;-) |

If they don't remove the nail bed I would imagine it would grow back. |
