I would imagine it willbe a local anaesthetic. I have lost two toenails and maybe a possible third through the toe ulcers I have. My nails do not look as if they will grow back. |

I had to have both my big toe nails off a few years ago, they also killed the nail bed to stop it regrowing, been great no pain now the nails are gone. My grandson has obviously inherited my prob and had to have his removed but they did not kill the nail bed, he still has problems and is due to go and have it removed again and the nail bed killed. It is not as bad as it sounds I wore sandalls until they had healed, went to Spain and the sun healed them fast. So when you have to go to have it removed, book a sunny holiday and make it worth it. Elaine. ;-) |
