Just watching breakfast news talking about how we have our tea

They say tea pots are going out.

So how do you like yours?

I have tea bag but do have my one person tea pot with tea leafs now and then.

If i am lucky and have a Sunday in by myself(which i am having tomorrow) i do a cream tea for myself. I lay it all out on a tray and sit and enjoy it.

Caitlin(grand daughter) got a china tea set for xams so we play tea parties with her dolls and teddies.

Only drink coffee.

I do have a box of tea bags in my cupboard for any visitors .... goodness knows what sort of brew they make though because they have been there for ages ;-).

To answer the question .... tea bag in a mug

I didnt start drinking tea or coffee until i was about 30.

My friend is like that cant stand milk at all. Its when she had milk at school and it was warm.has put her off for life.

I always make it in a pot (with teabags), I hate slopping about with teabags in mugs and if there are more than 2 of you, the pot is more economical. Plus I think it tastes better, and I prefer my tea in a cup! I don't drink much tea, though, and often prefer herbal tea, which I don't make in a pot, lol!

I like to drink mine in a bone china cup or mug.

I cant drink herbal teas even tho i like some of them.

My daughter Teri drinks green tea. Cant stand the smell of it.

Always milk first.

Mauatthecoast

Mauatthecoast Report 4 Feb 2012 12:00

Treehunter

Treehunter Report 4 Feb 2012 12:21

I'm a die hard Tatley bagger Mau, nothing else will do - especially that titled stuff that tastes as if it's been on the shelf too long with the lid off :-0

Hazel, I haven't actually used my spotty pot as the thermal one is pretty much unbreakable and it keeps the tea hot without it tasting 'stewed' so there's no hurry to drink up the second mug :-D
That's another thing.....mug or cup? We have mugs but I agree tea tastes lovely from bone china cups :-D

Teabag - I cannot stand a tea leaf in my mouth - and yes I would use a tea sieve but one always seemed to escape and land in my cup! OH drinks coffee only a morning cuppa so it is a teabag in a mug for me.
